The Three R’s – Remodeling, Renovating, and Re-purposing. With all the house flipping and lack of available homes, many people are turning to renovation. It is important to see that what we once loved can be made great again with a little remodeling, renovating, or re-purposing.
Below is an old mill house that I have redesigned. The space did not work for the owner but the look of the mill house and the neighborhood did. He had an idea of what he wanted and we sat down to update the space to fit his needs.
One thing he knew he definitely wanted was to keep the two corner fireplaces in the middle of the house. These are beautiful features and we were able to design the rest of the house around them.
This is what I like to do when remodeling or renovating, find the features that drew you to the space and give them a little sprucing up or facelift and work out from there.
I look forward to bringing my projects to you and hope that they will inspire you to take a look around and see what you like about your space and how it can be remodeled, renovated, or re-purposed to meet your current needs.
‘Til next time!
